Private Lessons

Private lessons at SFA are available for fencers of all levels—from beginners to high-level competitors. As a fencer’s skills advance, private lessons become increasingly important for refining technique, sharpening strategy, and addressing individual goals.

Each private lesson is custom-tailored to the fencer’s unique needs, allowing focused development in areas such as footwork, bladework, tactics, and mental preparation.

How Private Lessons Fit Into Training:

• Techniques learned during private sessions are reinforced during group classes and open bouting.

• Our Gold program includes two private lessons per month as part of the regular training package. The Silver, Bronze, and Youth programs each include one private lesson per month.

• As competition approaches, fencers often choose to add extra private lessons, and SFA is happy to accommodate based on availability.

• Cost: $40 per session or flexible package options.

• Duration: 20 minutes

• Scheduling: Flexible, by appointment

Cancellation Policy:

​

To reschedule a private lesson, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours may not be eligible for makeup sessions.
