Diego Cremona

Assistant Coach / USF Liaison

Diego has dedicated himself to fencing for over a decade, achieving strong results at both national and regional levels.

Beginning his fencing career in Italy and later competing in the United States exposed him to two distinct fencing cultures and training approaches. This diverse background has strengthened his adaptability, encouraged creative problem-solving, and taught him to embrace challenges as opportunities. These experiences have shaped him into a resilient, well-rounded fencer who constantly strives to refine his craft.

Diego’s passion for fencing extends beyond competition. He pursued extensive training to become both a certified fencing coach and referee, roles that have deepened his appreciation for the sport and enabled him to contribute to the fencing community in meaningful ways. As a coach, he takes pride in creating a positive and supportive environment where athletes feel motivated to grow. Many fencers enjoy working with him, and parents often express their trust, eager to see their children develop under his guidance.
